Syreny by³y to istoty maj±ce tu³ów cz³owiek, a zamiast nóg rybi ogon. Najczê¶ciej ludzka czê¶æ nale¿y do kobiety, ale czasem spotyka siê te¿ mêskie osobniki.
Syreny czêsto towarzyszy³y w³adcom mórz, a czasem nawet same w³ada³y oceanami.
Nie by³y one ani bestiami, ani potworami, gdy¿ zdarza³y siê zarówno okrutne, jak i ³agodne osobniki.

Syreny mog³y rodziæ siê w sposób naturalny, ale spotka³am siê te¿ z wy³anianiem z morskiej piany b±d¼ z czystych ¼róde³ek. Osobi¶cie popieram pierwsz± wersjê.
