Na pocz±tku nie wiedzia³em po co mi to kupi³, ale gdy pokaza³ mi swój pamiêtnik ze swoich lat szkolnych i opowiedzia³ mi jego historiê, postanowi³em skorzystaæ z niego i równie¿ (jak mój ojciec) zapisaæ w nim wszystkie moje przygody, te z³e, ale przede wszystkim te dobre, które mam nadziejê prze¿yæ.
Pamiêtnik ma w³asne zabezpieczenie, którym jest ogieñ. Tylko ja go mogê dotykaæ oraz ta osoba, której na to pozwolê. Ka¿da inna osoba bêdzie bole¶nie poparzona.
Je¿eli czytacie teraz ten pamiêtnik to prawdopodobnie ja ju¿ nie ¿yjê… ale do tego czasu bêdê go prowadziæ. Dzisiaj nic nadzwyczajnego siê nie zdarzy³o, wiêc nie mam co pisaæ, ale jutro jadê do Hogwartu, a tam zawsze siê co¶ dzieje…
