Dementor jest to rodzaj demona, który wysysa z ludzi szczęście, żywi się nim. Dementory pochodzą od lorda Voldemorta. Większość z potężnych czarodziejów, dziwi się władzą, że "zło" strzeże "zła". Dementorowi towarzyszy chłód i uczucie smutku, osaczenia i osamotnienia. Mugole nie widzą ich. Dementor potrafi błyskawicznie sie przemieszczać, wykorzystuje do tego lot. Jak bronić się przed dementorem? Są dwa sposoby. Jeden przed spotkaniem, a drugi po spotkaniu. Ten pierwszy jest dużo trudniejszy do nauczenia, więc opiszę go tylko ogólnie. Wykorzystuje się dobre uczucia, budzące w nas radość. Skupiamy się na nich i wypowiadamy zaklęcie Patronousa. Drugi sposób może zastosować nawet mugol. Wystarczy zjeść po spotkaniu czekoladę. Jakie bronie posiada dementor? Dementor posiada dwie bronie główne. 1.Wysysa szczęście. 2. Wysysa duszę. I robi z człowieka roślinę. Dementora nie sposób oszukać przebraniem itp!
