13. Okropny dzieñ

Dni mija³y szybko i zaczê³a siê zima. Nie ma w ogóle ¶niegu, tylko beznadziejna plucha. Ca³y czas jest okropnie zimno i leje jak z cebra. Napisa³am jak z cebra¬?! Niemo¿liwe! Leje jak... No, nie umiem tego sprecyzowaæ. Ogromne krople deszczu padaj± ze wszystkich stron na ziemiê z tak± si³±, ¿e odbijaj± siê od niej i mocz± cz³owieka od do³u. Nawet gruby p³aszcz i ogromny parasol nie pomagaj±. Brrr...
Jakby tego by³o ma³o, nauczyciele wyciskaj± z nas ostatnie poty. Wygl±da to mniej wiêcej tak: wej¶cie do klasy, powtórka ze wszystkich lekcji od pocz±tku roku, przerabianie nowego materia³u za materia³em i masa zadañ domowych. Ale mo¿na siê do tego w miarê przyzwyczaiæ. Na ca³e szczê¶cie.
Dzisiaj jednak mia³am okropny dzieñ. Po nieprzespanej nocy czu³am siê okropnie. Z tego co powiedzia³y moje wspólokatorki, wygl±da³am tak samo. Chcia³am doj¶æ z sob± do ³adu, ale raz, ¿e nie mog³am siê skupiæ, dwa, ¿e nie zna³am ¿adnego u¿ytecznego w tym przypadku zaklêcia.
Jako¶ uda³o mi siê dotrzeæ do Wielkiej Sali i zje¶æ automatycznie ¶niadanie. Pomimo wszystko... Gdy jad³am nieprzytomnie owsiankê, us³ysza³am nad sob± g³os profesor Buristaf:

- A teraz proszê, id¼ do Skrzyd³a Szpitalnego i popro¶ pani± Pomfrey o co¶ na wzmocnienie.
Skinê³am tylko g³ow±, spakowa³am swoje ksi±¿ki i pos³usznie uda³am sie do pielêgniarki. Wyja¶ni³am ca³± sprawê. Kobieta w sêdziwym wieku, lecz nadzwyczaj sprawna, poda³a mi gor±cy wywar z handrakuji i czarnego pieprzu i kaza³a po³o¿yæ siê do ³ó¿ka, nie zwa¿aj±c zupe³nie na to, ¿e w³a¶nie siê zacz±³ obiad. Protestowa³am, gdy¿ wcale nie mia³am ochoty zostaæ w Skrzydle Szpitalnym, ale pani Pomfrey by³a nieugiêta. Po³o¿y³am siê wiêc w chorobliwie bia³ej po¶cieli, zas³oni³am tak samo bia³e kotary i (o dziwo) smacznie i mocno zasnê³am.
Gdy siê obudzi³am us³ysza³am zamykanie drzwi i stukot obcasów. Odsunê³am kotary i usiad³am na ³ó¿ku. Zauwa¿ywszy to, pielêgniarka podesz³a do mnie poda³a mi ogromn± tacê z jedzeniem i kubek z wywarem, mówi±c:
- W³a¶nie przynios³am ci obiad. Gdy zjesz wszystko i wypijesz ca³y wywar, bêdziesz mog³a wyj¶æ.
Spojrza³am na tacê. Widz±c zupê ró¿an±, befsztyk w sosie kawowym z jajkiem i frytkami, sok dyniowy i galaretkê wi¶niowo-malinow± z ca³ymi kawa³kami owoców, us³ysza³am g³o¶ne burczenie w brzuchu. Zjad³am ze smakiem i wypi³am wywar, który (przynajmniej na d³u¿sz± chwilê) postawi³ mnie mocno na nogi. Przyby³o mi si³ i poczu³am siê ju¿ du¿o lepiej.
Niestety, nie ca³y czas tak by³o... Gdy po wyj¶ciu ze Skrzyd³a Szpitalnego, korzystaj±c z tego, ¿e nie pada, posz³am na dwór napisaæ przynajmniej czê¶æ referatu na obronê przed czarn± magi±, by³am jeszcze w miarê sprawna umys³owo. Siedz±c na ³awce i pisz±c wypracowanie (tak mi siê wydawa³o), patrzy³am w nico¶æ i oddawa³am siê zadumie. My¶la³am o tym co mi siê ostatnio przytrafi³o... Chocia¿ z punktu logicznego my¶lenia nic siê nie sta³o, a ja, wiodê ca³kiem normalne ¿ycie: chodzê do szko³y, mam przyjació³ na których mogê liczyæ, ¶ni± mi siê koszmary... No w³a¶nie koszmary... Dlaczego po raz kolejny ¶ni³a mi siê... Zaraz! Stop! Wróæ! Przecie¿ ja ca³y czas wpatrujê siê w to drzewo... A pod nim siedzi ta kobieta w czerwonej sukni ze snu... Tylko ¿e teraz jest w czarnym szkolnym p³aszczu. Czy to mo¿liwe, ¿eby ona tutaj by³a?
Chwiejnym krokiem podesz³am do kobiety. Ka¿dy krok zdawa³ mi siê mêczrni± ciekawo¶ci i zaintrygowania. Gdy by³am ju¿ ca³kiem blisko, odezwa³am siê:
- Ty... Ty...
- Tak, s³ucham? Co siê sta³o, nie znam ciê? – kruczoczarna dziewczyna, mo¿e z pi±tego roku, ze zdziwieniem patrzy³a siê na mnie. B³êdnym, zamglonym wzrokiem, wodzi³am po jej twarzy be³kocz±c bez ³adu i sk³adu:
- Prze... przepraszam. Pomyli³am Ciê... z kim¶...
A wiêc to jednak nie ona... Co sie ze mn± dzieje? Mo¿e to tylko skutek dzisiejszego przemêczenia lub dzia³ania leku pani Pomfrey? Oby...

I think folks tryin to feel accepted. It occurs to me that our parents used that onlywhitefolksdothat as a pretty fluid and selective deterrent. I'll have to try it with my kids . People can do whatever they want with thier legs, but that picture is not pretty in the leg department. Just saying. I do not shave because I dont need to, luckily. Im not very hairy and the little hair I do have on my legs is so fine that you cant even see it unless you are really close and if your that close you must be family or my guy. lol But I do have several friends that do and several that do not. Does not matter to me either way what a person wants to do but this is really interesting. I think criticizing someone for having hair on their legs is sad. God placed hair on people's legs. Why is what God did a bad thing putting Nair on your legs is fine (although it can burn and has an awful smell) and shaving and accidentally cutting your legs is fine (hair can clog up drains), but being what God made you is bad? " Why? God is perfect. What God makes is perfect. Don't let society or mainstream media tell you want pretty is.
